Purpose and Belonging

In the Marine Corps, you find a purpose greater than yourself. Every Marine stands for something. And you never stand alone.

The First to Step Forward

Service in the Marine Corps means more than fighting. It means protecting, supporting, and stepping up when it matters most. Because every mission, whether combat or compassion, starts with the same mindset: Do what needs be done—when people need it most.

Charles C. Krulak
General

"No matter what you're doing and no matter where you're doing it, the thing that keeps you going no matter how tough things get is that you're not going to ever let a fellow Marine down."

Marine For Life

That connection doesn’t end when your service ends. There’s no such thing as an ex-Marine. Once you’ve earned the title, it’s yours forever—and so is the brotherhood and support that come with it. Marines can remain connected to the Corps, and are supported in their civilian lives.

Find Your Role in the Marine Family
